Hobby fever and fad's come and go; yet comic book collecting is as American as Baseball, Football, Apple Pie and Chevrolet. We at the 10th Inning have enjoyed the Comic Book industry and it's collectors during our years in business. It was recently agreed on by the owners of the 10th Inning that we concentrate solely on the Trading Card Industry and move away from the Comic Book Industry. Time restraints, storage and the broadening of the market have helped make our decision in this move, so we have began selling our entire 165,000 Comic Book inventory.
Since we began this mission a year ago we have sold several thousands of our books, yet we haven't even put a dent in the inventory. I figure as of right now January 15, 2001 that we have roughly 150,000 + of the books left. We will continue our campaign to sell these books through our website, the Internet, and our store. The group consists of older and newer material, graphic novels, promotional material and independent issues. We would like to sell the whole collection, if someone is interested. Some of the pictures on this page show our store, the size of the collection and how well we have cared for, kept and stored these comic books over the years. Here is a small list of some of the material, titles and company's that our inventory boost- Uncanny Xmen- Marvel, Amazing Spiderman-Marvel, Crisis on Infinite Earth-DC, Incredible Hulk-Marvel, Secret Wars 1 and 2-DC, The New Mutants, Captain America, Superman, Green Lantern, Fantastic Four, The Avengers, Daredevil, GI Joe, Batman, Captain Marvel and many more. Plus Independent titles from Eclipse Comics, First Comics and many others.
We are asking $75,000.00 for the whole collection, which includes the shelving, that the books are housed. I do have estimates of what shipping a collection of this size costs via several different methods from one side of the United States to another.
